About

Rooted Expressions Creative Arts Therapy Services PLLC is a private practice established in May of 2024 by Katelyn Halleran. The practice prides itself on the provision of trauma-informed care through individual and group therapy services. Core values of safety, trust, collaboration, empowerment, and choice create the foundation for which the practice stands upon. Our mission is to create a safe and supportive environment through which individuals can heal through creative modalities to discover new-found growth, meaning, clarity, and resilience within their wellness journey.

Where did the title of Rooted Expressions Creative Arts Therapy Services PLLC. come from? When deciding that I wanted to kickstart my own private practice, I chose to do a lot of personal and professional reflection surrounding my practice in the field. While I have worked within a number of different settings, the foundation for my strong work with clients has always begun with grounding. Grounding allows us to feel a greater sense of connection and stability towards ourselves and the world around us. Specifically as an art therapist, being strongly grounded or rooted within our ability to express ourselves is integral to our overall human experience. The practice aims to help you return to your roots in hopes of planting new seeds for the future.
